Cook Assistant

As a Cook at our company, your role will involve preparing and assisting in cooking South Indian Veg and Non-Veg dishes. You will be responsible for handling cooking duties independently when the main cook is absent, including tasks like cutting, chopping, and ingredient preparation. Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards will be crucial, along with managing cooking materials and ensuring proper storage of food items. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and assist in cooking South Indian Veg and Non-Veg dishes - Handle cooking duties independently during the absence of the main cook - Help with cutting, chopping, and ingredient preparation - Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards - Manage cooking materials and ensure proper storage of food items - Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation Qualifications Required: - 13 years of experience or strong knowledge in South Indian cooking - Ability to prepare both Veg and Non-Veg items - Willingness to work in Wayanad - Punctual, responsible, and able to handle kitchen duties independently - Team player with good hygiene habits In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, our company offers a salary range of 16,000 - 18,000 per month. Furthermore, food and accommodation will be provided, giving you the opportunity to gain full-time cooking experience and skill development. Please note that the work location is in Manamadurai, and a Diploma is preferred as the educational qualification. Prior experience of at least 1 year in cooking is required for this position. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires in-person work at our location.,
