Job Description

Job Title: Conversational Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a conversational designer who oversees designing the User Experience of a Conversational Interface. Designing this Conversational User Experience means orchestrating all the components of a Conversational AI project, to assure that the overall experience with that Virtual Assistant (VA) will be consistent, natural and useful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience using tools like MS Visio, Visme, Draw.io, Lucidchart, SmartDraw, OmniGraffle etc. for creating BOT Contact flows.
  • Experience in working in Agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and design conversation flows, including user prompts, AI responses, and fallback options to ensure natural and engaging interactions.
  • Curate responses to be contextually relevant, ensuring they are appropriate to the user's input and the conversations context.
  • Regularly review and refine conversation content to improve accuracy, clarity, and engagement.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that the conversational content aligns with technical capabilities and overall project goals.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and incorporate their feedback into the conversation design.
  • Conduct user testing and usability studies to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of chatbot conversations and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Skills Required:

  • Having 3+ years of experience in Conversational AI as conversational designer.
  • Design and develop conversational flows for chatbot that align with the company's objectives and client requirements.
  • Create conversational design specifications, including intents, entities, dialogues, prompts, and error handling, using industry best practices and guidelines.
  • Apply an Omni Channel approach to ensure consistent user experiences across various platforms, including websites, mobile apps, social media, messaging platforms, and voice assistants.
  • Experience with UX tools like Maze, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc

Additional Skills:

  • Proficient in English, additional languages (French, Spanish etc) is a benefit.
  • Understanding of dialogues happening in customer service centers.
