Job Description

As a Controlling Professional Guidelines & Principles (GP), your role involves issuing opinions on technical accounting queries, developing accounting policies, and implementing new accounting standards within the organization. You will also be responsible for developing ICFR key controls, delivering monthly trainings on accounting topics, and providing guidance to various teams on Siemens Chart of Accounts (SCOA). Additionally, you will participate in project update meetings, review team members" work, and collaborate with statutory auditors to resolve technical accounting and ICFR related queries. Key Responsibilities: - Issue opinions on technical accounting queries raised by various departments - Develop accounting policies for local/global reporting in areas like revenue recognition, warranty, derivative, inventory, etc. - Implement new accounting standards/amendments within the organization - Develop ICFR key controls and coordinate with the ICFR team - Deliver monthly trainings on accounting topics - Participate in project update meetings and provide accounting guidance - Review team members" work and provide guidance on deliverables approach - Provide guidance on Siemens Chart of Accounts (SCOA) usage to various teams - Interact with statutory auditors to resolve technical accounting and ICFR queries - Proactively identify digitalization initiatives to simplify processes Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience - Strong technical knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS - Experience in designing and testing of ICFR - Working knowledge of SAP - Understanding of accounting processes and analytical mindset - Good communication and presentation skills Please note that this job does not mention any additional details about the company.,
