Control Manager - Associate

Role Overview: As a Control Management Senior Associate within the Control Management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment for the line of business. Your responsibilities will include identifying and escalating issues promptly, collaborating with the Business for timely remediation, and supporting top-down risk analysis and control issue detection. Key Responsibilities: - Provide operational risk guidance and leadership support for executing Risk & Control Self-Assessment, including resolving control breaks to minimize financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk. - Identify, assess, advise, and implement strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and establish a more resilient operating environment. - Ensure the effectiveness of key controls and engage in communications with regulatory and audit bodies internally and externally. - Supervise the governance of business operational risks, escalating issues to line of business and Firmwide operating committees as required. - Collaborate with senior business clients and partners across functional areas and geographies, such as Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Risk. - Conduct frequent side-by-sides with the business(es) to ensure alignment and understanding. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Curiosity to delve deep into details. - Positive attitude, team spirit, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset.,
