Control M Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Control-M Support Engineer to manage and support batch job scheduling and monitoring using BMC Control-M. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in job setup, troubleshooting, and client communication, with hands-on experience in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control-M Operations:

• Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot Control-M jobs (inbound/outbound, file dependencies, job failures).
• Perform job triggering, holding, and schedule adjustments as per change requests.
• Validate templates and automate verification processes.

• System Monitoring & Maintenance:

• Monitor log files on Windows servers and Unix systems using Putty.
• Support BPCS production jobs and SAP-ECC reporting.
• Perform routine system maintenance and data validation tasks.

• Incident & Change Management:

• Handle service tasks and outages via ServiceNow.
• Participate in change procedures and ensure compliance with operational standards.

• Client Interaction & Documentation:

• Communicate with clients via email, chat, and calls.
• Provide knowledge transfer (KT) and training to new joiners.
• Maintain documentation for job flows and support procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in Control-M job support and administration.
• Proficient in Control-M, ServiceNow, SAP, MS Excel, and Unix (Putty).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
