Job Description

As a Control-M Specialist at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of the Control-M infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting batch jobs and workflows. You will also be involved in applying software updates, patches, and hotfixes to maintain a secure and up-to-date Control-M environment. Collaboration with application teams and business stakeholders will be key as you define and implement job scheduling requirements. Additionally, you will create and maintain job definitions, calendars, and scheduling conditions in Control-M to meet operational needs. Monitoring job execution, troubleshooting issues related to job failures, dependencies, and resource allocation, and optimizing workflows and job dependencies to improve efficiency and meet SLAs will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have 4-12 years of experience in L2/L3/L4 Control-M Scheduling and Administration. Your expertise should include migration of jobs from any scheduler to Control-M/Helix, upgrading Control-M versions, and installing, configuring, and maintaining the Control-M environment, encompassing Control-M/Server, Control-M/Enterprise Manager, Control-M Agents, and related components. Working at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to leverage Control-M Automation API, Self Service, and Forecasting features. You will be encouraged to integrate Control-M with DevOps pipelines, cloud platforms (such as AWS and Azure), and modern scripting tools.
