Control-M Administrator

Key Skills:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Upgrade core Control-M components such as Control-M Enterprise Manager and Control-M Server with minimal service disruption.
• Integrate supplementary modules like Workload Change Manager, Workload Archiving, and Workflow Insights to maximize system performance.
• Proactively manage the health of the Control-M environment by continuously monitoring core components and identifying issues before they impact services.
• Utilize observability tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and ThousandEyes to analyze system performance and optimize operations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive functional and non-functional test cases for major changes, including version upgrades and deployment of new Control-M Agent Plug-Ins.
• Employ scripting languages like Python and PowerShell to package and deploy new Control-M Agent versions across the enterprise.
• Create detailed technical documentation and diagrams to support system maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and project delivery.
• Mentor and upskill team members by conducting gap analyses, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, and developing tailored training plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly to maintain high system availability and performance.

Experience Required:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in enterprise Control-M administration including upgrade planning, patch deployment, and high-availability configurations.
• Hands-on experience with scripting using Python and PowerShell for automation and large-scale deployments.
• Proven ability to monitor system performance using industry tools and resolve critical issues under pressure.
