CONTRACTS & TENDER ENGINEER

As a Contracts & TENDER Engineer, you should possess a strong understanding of contract terms, market rates, and material source databases. Your proficiency in MS Office will be crucial for this role. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary attributes for successful performance. With a qualification in B.E. Civil Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, particularly with reputed developers in residential & commercial projects, you will be based in Pune. Your responsibilities will include establishing and implementing processes, coordinating inter-disciplinary projects, identifying and mitigating risks, and overseeing the complete tendering and contract process. This involves evaluating Bill of Quantities, preparing tender documents, conducting technical and price comparisons, negotiating rates, and finalizing contracts with vendors. You will also be responsible for preparing approval notes for contract awards, utilizing SAP for creating purchase/work orders, negotiating with contractors, managing contract lifecycle activities, and handling dispute resolution mechanisms. Furthermore, your role will involve preparing tender/internal estimations, coordinating with consultants, identifying contractors through a pre-qualification process, analyzing quotes, negotiating prices, and finalizing contracts. Attending negotiation meetings to finalize contracts will also be part of your responsibilities. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least 4 years of experience in contract & procurement in real estate and a minimum of 10 years in contracts & TENDER engineering specifically in real estate.
