Continuous Improvement Specialist

Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Process Improvement Professional at Hitachi Energy, you will focus on enhancing manufacturing operations and cost savings to boost the organization's profitability and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include analyzing designs, methods, and internal manufacturing processes, developing strategies for operational efficiency, implementing process improvements using Lean methodologies, and collaborating with various departments to meet project schedules. Key Responsibilities: - Implement Lean Manufacturing methods such as Shop Floor Management, 5s, TPM, and Changeover - Enhance productivity, quality, and profitability through data analysis and process engineering - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations - Develop jigs & fixtures, SPM for manufacturing processes - Proactively communicate shop floor issues and work independently for solutions - Plan, monitor, and control project activities to achieve objectives - Secure timely approval of drawings and documents from engineering and customers - Manage project aspects to meet customer requirements and technical, safety, quality, and financial targets - Implement Daily Management practices across functions - Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize business processes and promote continuous improvement - Propose improvement projects for processes and production lines - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language Additional Details: Hitachi Energy values safety and integrity, emphasizing responsibility for actions, caring for colleagues, and upholding business values.
