Job Title: Continental Chef – 3 (Pasta / Pizza Specialist) Department: Kitchen / Continental Section Reports To: Head Chef Location: Vastralpur - Ahmedabad Experience : 2 to 5 Years JOb Responsibility : Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook fresh Pizza / pasta (handmade and machine-made) including Pizza spaghetti, penne, fettuccine, ravioli, lasagna sheets, gnocchi, etc. Create and execute classic and contemporary pasta dishes with appropriate sauces (béchamel, marinara, pesto, alfredo, arrabbiata, carbonara, etc.). Ensure mise en place is ready before service (pasta dough, sauces, garnishes, condiments). Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all pasta dishes. Monitor cooking times and al dente quality of pasta. Assist in menu development by suggesting new pasta-based dishes. Handle ingredient storage and stock rotation (FIFO), ensuring freshness of pasta dough, cheese, sauces, and herbs. Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP and kitchen SOPs. Train and mentor junior staff (Commis II/III) in pasta preparation and cooking.
