Kruti Coffee Ventures LLP is in search of a Continental Chef to join their team. As one of India's rapidly growing specialty coffee entities and cafe chains, Kruti Coffee upholds specialty coffee standards throughout its value chain. The journey of Kruti Coffee's specialty coffee began with the transformation of farm management practices at Kindiriguda tribal coffee farms in Odisha, Eastern India. As a Continental Chef at Kruti Coffee Ventures LLP, your responsibilities will include menu development, where you will create and innovate Continental cuisine menus encompassing appetizers, main courses, and desserts. You will be in charge of preparing and cooking high-quality dishes following set recipes and presentation standards. Quality control is crucial, and you will be required to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation while adhering to health and safety regulations. Managing kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients will also fall under your purview. It will be your responsibility to train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow proper cooking techniques and adhere to kitchen protocols. Monitoring food costs, optimizing kitchen operations to minimize waste, and collaborating closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team for maintaining smooth kitchen operations are key aspects of this role. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, along with ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, is essential. The ideal candidate should have a background in any graduate or postgraduate field. Key skills required for this position include quality control, inventory management, and food preparation.
