Content Writer (User Guide)

About Hisab:

Hisab is a simple and powerful invoicing, accounting, and inventory software designed for Indian MSMEs. We are looking for a detail-oriented Content Writer to join the User Guide team at Hisab. The role involves creating clear, structured, and user-friendly textual guides for our application features and use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create step-by-step user guides, FAQs, and documentation for Hisab's features and workflows.
• Translate technical product inputs (from sales team, product team, or user guide team) into simple and easy-to-understand content.
• Maintain consistency in writing style, terminology, and structure across all documentation.
• Continuously update and improve existing guides as new features are released or workflows change.
• Collaborate with product managers, sales, and support teams to ensure guides address real user challenges and questions.
• Ensure all content is aligned with Hisab's brand voice and terminology standards (English, Hindi, Gujarati consistency if required).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or SaaS content writing.
• Strong written communication skills with excellent command of English (knowledge of Hindi/Gujarati is a plus).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
• Experience in creating SaaS/product documentation or user guides.
• Good understanding of content structuring: headings, bullet points, step-by-step instructions, formatting.
• Basic knowledge of tools like Google Docs, Confluence, Notion, or similar documentation platforms.
• Familiarity with invoicing, accounting, or business management software (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
