Content Writer and Social Media Planner

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging and brand-aligned written content for social media, while also building structured monthly content calendars tailored to each client's needs. You’ll work closely with our design and strategy teams to ensure content aligns with broader brand goals, current trends, and upcoming campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

✍️ Content Writing:
  • Write compelling, grammatically sound, and engaging social media captions across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Adapt tone and voice based on the brand — from casual and witty to professional and elegant
  • Write blog posts, product descriptions, ad copy, email headers, and influencer scripts as needed
  • Research industry trends, hashtags, and competitor content for copy inspiration
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment
📅 Content Calendar Planning:
  • Create detailed monthly social media calendars with post ideas, captions, hashtags, and posting schedules
  • Work with the visual team to suggest content types (reels, carousels, stories, static posts, etc.)
  • Map out content around product launches, festivals, campaigns, and business goals
  • Update clients’ calendars with feedback and revisions in an organized and timely manner
🤝 Collaboration & Client Management:
  • Coordinate with creative directors, social media managers, and client-facing teams
  • Participate in strategy calls to understand brand voice and campaign priorities
  • Maintain clear documentation for content revisions, approvals, and timelines
  • Provide creative ideas to elevate client social media presence

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media content writing or digital content creation
  • Strong grammar, vocabulary, and storytelling skills
  • Understanding of different tones of voice, brand positioning, and audience targeting
  • Proficiency in using content planning tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Trello, or Airtable
  • Working knowledge of Canva or basic design tools (bonus)
  • Ability to handle multiple brands, industries, and fast-paced deadlines
  • Experience in F&B, fashion, or lifestyle industries is highly preferred
