Key Responsibilities Content Creation Write clear, compelling copy for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, ads, product descriptions, and more. Develop SEO-optimised content that improves organic visibility and search performance. Conduct in-depth research to understand target audiences, industry trends, and competitor strategies. Stay current on emerging copywriting trends, tools, and techniques to elevate content quality. Draft scripts for multimedia projects such as videos and podcasts. Review and edit all deliverables to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project goals. Brand Voice & Consistency Maintain a consistent tone and style that accurately reflects each brand’s identity. Adapt writing style to suit specific audiences, channels, and campaign objectives. Create and manage content style guides for internal teams or client projects as needed. Collaboration & Workflow Partner with designers, SEO specialists, and performance marketers to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns. Manage content calendars, juggle multiple deadlines, and reprioritise quickly when project needs shift. Track performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and recommend data-driven optimisations. Compliance & Legal Adherence Ensure all copy meets legal standards, copyright laws, and ethical guidelines. Attribute sources properly to maintain credibility and transparency in all published content. Qualifications 1-2 years’ professional writing experience in an agency or B2B/B2C marketing- environment. Proven portfolio featuring long-form articles, website copy, and social media content that drove measurable results.
