Job Summary:

The Content Writer will be responsible for developing compelling and impactful content across various platforms, including the university website, social media, newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of professional writing experience, a strong command of language, and the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences, including students, faculty, and stakeholders.


What You'll Do:

  • Create, edit, and proofread high-quality content for digital and print platforms, including website pages, blogs, social media posts, press releases, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop content strategies that align with the university’s goals and brand voice.
  • Conduct research to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the university’s mission and values.
  • Develop SEO-optimized content to enhance the university’s online visibility and engagement.
  • Craft engaging stories and case studies highlighting student achievements, faculty research, placement and university initiatives.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the university’s tone, style, and branding guidelines.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content writing and digital marketing.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field.
  • 4-5 years of proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably in the education sector or a related industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in creating SEO-friendly content and familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Strong research skills and the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with social media content creation and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and an understanding of academic audiences will add an advantage.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Google Suite, and content analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
