Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in agriculture, agronomy, horticulture, food technology, nutrition, dietetics, and other courses. Conduct research and development activities related to agricultural practices, food processing technologies, and human nutrition. Develop curriculum materials for academic programs in agriculture and allied fields. Collaborate with industry partners on projects related to agriculture production systems, food safety regulations, and sustainable agriculture practices. Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences to stay updated on latest developments in the field. Desired Candidate Profile Master's degree (M.Sc.) or Ph.D. in relevant subject area (mentioned below) 2-7 years of teaching experience at the university level or equivalent industrial experience. Specialization/ Faculty required in: Agronomy + Agro-forestry Genetics & Plant Breeding Horticulture Agricultural Engineering Food Technology Agricultural Economics, Agriculture Statistics, Agriculture Extension & Communication, Entomology, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry + Microbiology, Animal Sciences including Fisheries, Dairy Sciences & poultry units, Agro - meteorology. Food Science & Food Technology / Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Processing and Technology Agriculture Analytics
