Role Summary

We're looking for a Content Writer with a strong SEO mindset. You'll plan, write, and

optimize content that ranks on Google and converts readers into inquiries for our clients. If

you've written service pages, location pages, blogs, and landing pages for local

businessesand you understand search intent, on?page SEO, and internal linkingyou'll

love this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Research topics, keywords, and local search intent to create outlines and content
• plans.
• Write high?quality service pages, city/location pages, blogs, FAQs, and landing pages
• for U.S. home?service brands.
• Optimize on?page elements (titles, H1H3s, meta tags, schema suggestions, internal
• links, CTAs).
• Localize content for U.S. cities/metros (NAP consistency, geo?modifiers,
• neighborhood context).
• Collaborate with SEO specialists, designers, and developers to ship content that
• ranks and converts.
• Use AI and SEO tools responsibly to speed up research, ideation, and briefs
• (human?edited final copy).
• Maintain brand voice/tone; ensure factual accuracy and compliance with client
• guidelines.
• Track content performance and iterate using data (rankings, traffic, conversions).

Must

• 13 years of hands?on

  SEO content writing

  experience (agency or in?house).
• Portfolio of web pages/blogs that target keywords and demonstrate on?page SEO
• best practices.
• Strong grasp of search intent, topical clustering, internal linking, and basic schema
• concepts.
• Excellent written English tailored to U.S. audiences; ability to self?edit and follow
• briefs.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics,
• Ahrefs/SEMrush, Surfer/Frase, Grammarly, and CMSs (WordPress/Webflow).

Nice to Have

• Experience writing for home?service niches (painting, HVAC, plumbing, roofing,
• electrical, lawn care, etc.).
• Understanding of E?E?A?T, helpful content principles, and local SEO (GBP, citations).
• Basic knowledge of CRO copy (above?the?fold messaging, CTA testing) and landing
• page frameworks.
