Content Lead / Creative Manager (Short-Form Video & Social Media)

Role Objective

end-to-end content strategy and execution

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop monthly and weekly content plans for:
  
• After-school activity programs
• Kids outdoor activity center
• Define content pillars (education, trust, activities, events, testimonials)
• Plan shoots to maximize output from limited shoot days

Creative Direction

• Decide:
  
• What to shoot
• How to shoot
• How content should look and feel
• Provide clear briefs to videographer/editor
• Ensure brand-safe, child-appropriate content at all times
• Maintain consistency across multiple pages

Execution & Team Management

• Manage videographer/editor and freelancers
• Review and approve all content before posting
• Coordinate shoot schedules with center managers and instructors
• Maintain content calendar and deadlines

Performance Tracking & Optimization

• Monitor content performance (views, saves, comments, enquiries)
• Identify what formats and hooks are working
• Improve content based on data and feedback
• Share simple weekly performance insights with founder

Platform Management (Basic)

• Oversee posting on Instagram and YouTube
• Coordinate with ads freelancer (if applicable)

Required Qualifications

Education (Flexible)

• Degree or diploma in:
  
• Media
• Marketing
• Communications
• Design
• Or equivalent practical experience

Experience

• 1-5 years experience in:
  
• Content creation
• Social media management
• Short-form video strategy
• Hands-on experience managing Reels/Shorts pages
• Prior work in education, kids, parenting, lifestyle, or local brands is a strong plus

Content & Platform Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
  
• Instagram Reels
• YouTube Shorts
• Content hooks and storytelling
• Knows what content works for

  parents

• Ability to translate business goals into content ideas

Management & Communication

• Clear communicator (verbal and written)
• Can give constructive feedback to editors
• Comfortable coordinating with non-media staff (teachers, coaches)

Tools & Systems

• Content planning tools (Notion, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Meta Business Suite
• Google Drive asset management
• Basic analytics understanding

Soft Skills (Critical)

• Ownership mindset
• Ethical and responsible when working with childrens content
• Willing to build from scratch, not just manage large teams

• Influencer managers only
• People who only want to post content, not plan it
• Performance-ads-only marketers
• Candidates who dislike operational execution

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)

Candidates must share:

• Instagram / YouTube pages they have managed
• Examples of Reels/Shorts they have planned or supervised
• Brief explanation of content strategy used

Compensation (Indicative)

• Performance-linked increments after 3–6 months
