Duration of Internship : 6 months (Full-time internship)Paid Internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Proofreading, fact-checking (when needed), and editing content2. Reading and evaluating written text for grammatical and spelling errors3. Comparing edited content against the original copy to identify errors or omissions4. Rephrasing written text to ensure content consistency5. Staying updated with grammatical developments and new terminologies in English6. Editing according to the US English style while ensuring proper usage of words and grammar7. Contacting SMEs or freelancers to clarify grammatical inconsistencies related to style and text choice8. Ensuring the quality of content is maintained9. Completing the project within set time constraints
1. Bachelors or Master's degree in Journalism, English, or related field
2. Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio3. Should be an avid reader4. Hands-on experience with MS Office, publishing tools, CMS5. Strong communication skills, highly organized, an eye for detail along with critical thinking, prioritizing, and multitasking skills6. A team player with the ability to deliver content within deadlines while maintaining consistency of content
