Content Developer/ Sr. Editor / Subject Matter Expert (Science and Social Science)

As a leading educational publishing house in India, Sunbeam Publishers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in the role of a Manuscript Editor. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for editing, evaluating, and improving manuscripts submitted by authors for final production. Additionally, you will coordinate with authors, artists, designers, external editors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered within agreed schedules. Your role will also involve participating in training sessions, working with Directors on proposals for new projects, and commissioning authors and freelance editors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Edit, evaluate, and improvise manuscripts submitted by authors - Deliver projects within agreed schedules - Coordinate with authors, artists, designers, external editors, and vendors - Participate in training sessions and provide inputs to the sales team on the unique selling points of the books - Work with Directors on proposals for new projects and improvements to current textbooks - Commission authors and freelance editors **Qualifications Required:** - Master's degree in Science/Social Science streams - 3 to 5 years of prior experience in an Educational Publishing firm (K12 segment) - Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling - Strong organizational and project management skills - Ability to manage and mentor a team of editors - Strong communication and interpersonal skills If you are passionate about educational publishing and possess the required qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, on-site role in Pitampura, Delhi.,
