Role Overview:

As a Content Developer for Lenskart Academy, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality, engaging, and effective learning content tailored to various audiences within the company. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and trainers to transform business goals and training needs into learner-centric content that drives performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

• Develop learning materials such as e-learning modules, facilitator guides, assessments, videos, infographics, SOPs, and microlearning content.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts for audio/video content in alignment with brand tone and learner profiles.

2. Instructional Design Support:

• Work closely with instructional designers to structure content for maximum retention and engagement.
• Apply adult learning principles to create interactive, scenario-based learning experiences.

3. Content Localization & Customization:

• Customize content based on audience segments (store staff, optometrists, warehouse teams, corporate teams, etc.)
• Assist in translating or localizing content into regional languages when needed.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Proofread and edit content for grammatical accuracy, visual consistency, and instructional clarity.
• Ensure content is aligned with Lenskarts training standards and guidelines.

5. Collaboration:

• Partner with SMEs from various departments to gather accurate content inputs.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and LMS administrators to ensure seamless content delivery.

6. Feedback & Iteration:

• Gather learner feedback and analytics to revise and improve content regularly.
• Maintain version control and manage content updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Mass Communication, Education, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in content writing, instructional design, or learning content development.
• Strong command over written English and the ability to write in a learner-friendly tone.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like Articulate Storyline, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software is a plus.
• Experience working in retail, tech, or fast-paced environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI content is an added advantage.
