Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Content Creation:

    • Develop, write, and edit compelling content for blogs, articles, social media, and other digital platforms.

    • Create multimedia content, including images, videos, infographics, and animations.

    • Research industry-related topics to ensure content is current and relevant.

Social Media Management:

    • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

    • Manage and curate content for social media channels including [list platforms: e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn].

    • Monitor and respond to social media interactions and comments in a timely and professional manner.

    • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance.

Content Scheduling and Planning:

    • Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication and alignment with marketing campaigns.

    • Plan and coordinate content campaigns, promotions, and announcements.

Analytics and Reporting:

    • Track and analyse performance metrics across content and social media channels.

    • Provide regular reports on content performance, audience engagement, and social media growth.

Collaboration:

    • Work closely with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals and strategies.

    • Collaborate with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to expand reach and engagement.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in content creation and social media management.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hoot suite, Buffer, Canva).

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO principles.

  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).

  • Knowledge of social media advertising and paid promotion strategies.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
