About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Content Associate to join our team at bigbasket. The

ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing product catalogues, ensuring data accuracy,

coordinating with vendors, and supporting category teams to maintain a seamless online customer

experience.

Key Responsibilities

Catalogue Creation:

Create and upload new product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and

attributes.

Ensure alignment with internal content quality standards.

Catalogue Updating:

Regularly update existing product information including pricing, availability, pack sizes, and compliance

details.

Maintain consistency and accuracy across all SKUs.

Vendor Code Creation:

Coordinate with internal teams to generate vendor codes and ensure timely onboarding of new vendors.

Validate vendor data and documentation for accuracy.

Ensure compliance with category guidelines and legal requirements (FSSAI)

Coordination with Category & Operations Teams:

Collaborate with category managers, vendors, and supply chain teams to resolve catalogue discrepancies.

Support in catalogue hygiene activities and bulk updates.

Content & Image Management:

Ensure all images and descriptions meet brand standards.

Request and coordinate product photo shoots where required.

Process Improvement:

Identify gaps in the catalogue process and suggest improvements for workflow efficiency.

Support automation and system enhancement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in any discipline.

24 years of experience as a Catalogue Associate or similar role in e-commerce/retail.

Strong understanding of product data management and catalogue workflows.

Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, bulk data handling).

Good communication and coordination skills.

High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Familiarity with e-commerce CMSRole & responsibilities
