Consultant - Technical

Role Overview: As a Consultant at Quorum Software, you will be a vital part of the Technology Services team, focusing on implementing Energy Components software for international energy companies. Your role will involve delivering technical upgrades, mastering essential technical skills, and working collaboratively with team members to enhance technical services related to Quorum products. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver technical upgrades to customer-specific solutions, including configuration, customization management, deployment, testing, and issue resolution - Master basic technical skills required for successful technical services delivery, such as SQL, Jira deployments, and in-house Quorum tools - Develop an understanding of Quorum's architecture systems and software development lifecycle processes, especially for Energy Components - Take full ownership of assigned work, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and documentation - Collaborate with team members globally to document and enhance technical upgrade and deployment steps, processes, and tools - Participate in software upgrade projects by assisting in design, configuration/development, and testing phases - Engage with customer IT and business users to gather specifications, install updates, manage security, provide training, and resolve issues - Demonstrate technical and product expertise in customer interactions while representing Quorum positively - Perform any other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Experience working with customers and software users to gather requirements, develop solutions, and resolve issues - Strong database skills, including SQL proficiency for functions/procedures, data management, and issue troubleshooting - Basic programming skills in languages like C#, along with an understanding of the software development lifecycle - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a desire for continuous learning - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Additional Details: Quorum Software is a leading provider of digital technology for energy workflows, connecting people and information across the energy value chain.
