Consultant Strategy Consulting, Industrial Practice

Role Overview: As a Consultant at our office in Gurgaon, India, you will collaborate with senior consultants, engagement managers, and practice heads to provide data-driven and analysis-rich research deliverables that derive strategic insights as per client requirements. Your role will involve conducting in-depth secondary research and primary research, analyzing data to extract insights, and developing proxies and triangulations for difficult-to-obtain data points. Additionally, you will be expected to interact seamlessly with team members to deliver high-quality strategy consulting assignments that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Support managers and practice heads in understanding client requirements, problem definition, designing project approaches, and making recommendations - Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the Industrial practice area and provide internal and client-facing thought leadership - Conduct extensive primary and/or secondary research, analyze data, and identify relevant trends and insights - Develop proxies and triangulations for challenging data points such as revenue forecast data and market size numbers - Interact seamlessly with team members to ensure high-quality delivery of strategy consulting assignments - Take ownership of assigned modules, guide analysts and associate consultants, and produce output in the form of Power Point, Excel, Word, etc. - Manage vendor relationships and undertake business development activities by preparing project/work proposals and capability decks Qualifications Required: - Good business writing and verbal communication skills - Detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual presentation of information - Excellent research, analytical, and numerical skills - Logical thought process to develop solutions based on data analysis - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a time-line driven high-pressure environment - Self-driven with a high level of motivation and energy, willing to contribute to firm goals - International experience will be an added advantage - Professional appearance and manner of speaking Additional Company Details: N/A,
