Consultant PICU

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant PICU at Max Healthcare, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, India. The Consultant PICU will be responsible for providing expert care to critically ill pediatric patients, managing patient diagnoses, treatments, and consultations. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to clinical procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care. The Consultant will also lead efforts in patient education and engagement, contribute to staff training, and participate in quality improvement measures within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of pediatric critical care, medical protocols, and evidence-based treatment practices

• Relevant medical degree (MBBS, MD/DNB Pediatrics), fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

• Experience in quality management and contributions to healthcare improvements is a plus
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advances in pediatric critical care
