Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon

Compensation: USD 8000 per month (based on experience)

A leading private hospital in the Caribbean region is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join its surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care — from acute trauma management to elective joint replacement surgeries — and deliver patient-centered treatment consistent with international standards.

·      Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, deformities, and degenerative joint conditions.

·      Perform a full range of orthopedic procedures, including trauma surgery, joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder), arthroscopy, and general bone and soft-tissue reconstruction.

·      Oversee all aspects of pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.

·      Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans in collaboration with physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.

·      Review diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to determine appropriate surgical and non-surgical interventions.

·      Ensure optimal postoperative recovery and follow-up care, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

·      Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality-assurance meetings, and clinical development initiatives.

·      Contribute to continuing medical education and clinical audits as part of the hospital’s commitment to excellence.
