Consultant - Info Security Engineer (ServiceNow)

As an Info Security Engineer Consultant at our organization, you will be responsible for understanding processes, identifying automation opportunities, and implementing automation solutions such as reporting, ServiceNow enhancements, and scripting. Your software development skills, including scripting, SQL statements, and coding, will be instrumental in this role. Experience with ServiceNow or other ITIL processes is preferred. With an engineering mindset, you will analyze manual processes and envision future automation capabilities. You will collaborate with the GRC team to ensure regulatory and audit requirements are met, with a focus on automating GRC processes. Understanding Principal tooling capabilities and utilizing them for automation purposes will be a key aspect of your role. In this position, you will design, develop, and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform using low-code development techniques. You will also enhance catalog items within the Service Catalog to support IT service management and various business processes. Collaborating with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical solutions will be essential. Additionally, you will configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and integrations to meet custom application requirements. Integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems and applications using REST API, SOAP API, and other methods will also be part of your responsibilities. Customizing and extending ServiceNow platform functionalities using JavaScript, Glide API, and relevant technologies will be crucial to your success. You will be involved in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting custom applications and integrations to ensure their quality and reliability. Documenting technical designs, processes, and procedures related to custom application development and integrations will also be a key aspect of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have 8 to 10 years of total experience, with a significant portion of that experience focused on automation and ServiceNow. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. Effective communication skills are essential for clear and concise interactions with team members and business partners. As a self-starter with good business acumen, you should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information is crucial in this role. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Cloud environments is preferred. A desire and ability to learn new technologies continuously and stay updated on the latest trends are also important for this role.
