Consultant, Energy & Environment

Role Overview: As a member of the Energy & Environment Advisory team, you will help organizations navigate through the challenges of energy transition and sustainability goals. Your role will involve utilizing domain expertise in Power & Energy, Environment & Water, Homes & Buildings, and Oil & Gas to deliver actionable plans and concepts for growth in existing and new markets. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a module of work or a small project with a 1-2 member team, heading client teams and structuring analyses to address critical client questions - Act as a role model internally, develop expert status with middle management level client staff, and start taking on business development tasks such as proposals and client pitches - Manage the delivery of major strategic consulting engagements from inception to completion, incorporating design, plan, cost and management, primary research, and developing bespoke client focused solutions through commercial leadership - Lead industry interactions by conducting primary research and strategic discussions with industry participants, being well networked in the industry - Interpret research data and findings to prepare succinct reports/presentations for client meetings and support Partners/Business Unit leaders with material for interactions - Act as an industry expert and trusted advisor for key clients, managing key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded and timelines are heeded - Develop excellent quality content and work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience Qualifications Required: - Degree in engineering/science is a must - Post-graduate qualification in management from leading universities preferable - 3-5 years of prior consulting/lead analyst experience in a top consulting firm or research organization, or experience in internal strategic functions of large energy or environment companies - Understanding and practical exposure to mega trends like Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, New Business Models, Automation, etc., and their impact on conventional industries - Strong project management skills - Previous experience in mentoring, training, and inspiring a team of Consulting/Research professionals - Advanced ability to develop strong business relationships, collaborate with the sales function, and establish continued client business - Articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills - Knowledge and/or experience of the Energy & Environment industry in one or more of the following segments: Power Infrastructure & Utilities, Building Technologies and Construction, Environment and Sustainability, Oil & Gas Additional Company Details (if present): Frost & Sullivan offers a competitive base salary plus bonus opportunity, Frost Flex Policy, attractive Medical and Accident insurance, regional travel opportunities, a friendly open environment with a diverse and international operational focus, a definite career path with numerous growth opportunities, and a global team that fosters teamwork and an Olympic spirit while enhancing communication and people skills.
