Consultant - Direct Taxation

The professional will be a part of the expert tax division for providing Direct Tax Compliance, Litigation &/or Advisory services to clients both domestic and international Tax.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• Support senior professionals in Tax Litigation matters including preparation & representation of assessments, appeals and petitions including at CIT, CIT (A), DRP, AAR & ITAT levels
• Independently handle matters including refunds, rectification, appeal effect etc.
• Independently manage & execute Tax Compliance assignments including Tax Returns
• Coordination and representation at department for various matters.
• Independently handling interactions with mid and senior management of Client Groups for routine compliances and related matters.

TO QUALIFY FOR CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU NEED

Requisite Qualification - Chartered Accountant

Requisite Experience - 2- 4 years of post-qualification experience in rendering expert services pertaining to Direct Tax Litigation & Compliance.

Preference shall be given to candidates who possess:

• Expertise in Direct Tax Laws built via experience in rendering Direct Taxation Litigation and Compliances services to clients at reputed consulting / CA firms / Law Firms / Industry.

  Practical experience of representation at Tax department is essential

• Strong interpersonal skills for positive interactions with team & clients
• Sound commercial knowledge
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
