As a Consultant / Senior Consultant at WSP, you will have the opportunity to be part of a leading engineering, professional services, and technical consultancy firm that is passionate about making a profound impact on the future. Your role will involve supporting a wide variety of assessment projects, including BREEAM, LEED, WELL, Home Quality Mark, and BREEAM infrastructure. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects within the set timeline and budget, engaging with specialists from various disciplines such as Ecologists and Engineers. To excel in this role, you should have excellent experience in supporting sustainability assessments and be qualified in at least one of the mentioned schemes, preferably as a BREEAM AP, LEED AP, and/or WELL AP. Your technical capabilities gained within a professional consultancy will be valuable, along with sound assessment skills covering different development types. It is essential to have a relevant degree and membership of an appropriate environmental, architectural, or sustainability body, as well as a good understanding of UK and European legislation and assessment methods. Your enthusiasm for energy and sustainability, coupled with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow, will be crucial. Strong project management, time management, and resourcing skills are necessary for success in this role. Additionally, a commercial and practical understanding of building design, construction, and energy projects would be advantageous.
