Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Baseline Study:
Conduct comprehensive baseline studies for gathering relevant environmental data and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
Documentation and Forms:
Prepare and fill out necessary regulatory forms and documentation required for project approval and compliance.
Terms of Reference (TOR):
Develop and finalize TORs for EIA studies, ensuring all necessary aspects are covered.
Stakeholder Presentations:
Prepare and deliver presentations on Public Hearing (PH) and Environmental Clearance (EC) to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project impacts and mitigation strategies.
EIA Report Preparation:
Compile and prepare detailed EIA reports that evaluate the potential environmental impacts of proposed projects, including mitigation measures and compliance strategies.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with clients and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all project activities comply with state and central environmental regulatory bodies.
Public Engagement:
Assist in community outreach and engagement activities related to environmental projects.

Preferred candidate profile:

NABET Accreditation (category A or B) mandatory.
Preferred Functional Area Expert- AP,WP,AQ,NV,SC.
PG in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
6-11 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, particularly in water treatment projects and waste management.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA guidelines).
Proficiency in data analysis tools and environmental modeling software.
Software knowledge of ALOHA, CUSTIC, AERMOD, AUTOCAD, QGIS,ARCGIS.
