Job Description

Position: Construction Manager

Experience: 1215 Years

Preferred Industry: Semiconductor / FMCG / Solar Cell Manufacturing

Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical) / M.Tech (Mechanical)

Team Size Managed: 150–200

Job Location: Initially Ahmedabad (Must be open to relocate based on project requirements)

Job Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Independently manage and lead end-to-end construction activities for large-scale industrial

projects.

  • Ensure timely completion of all phases of the project including structural, MEP, and

architectural works.

MEP Project Management

  • Oversee all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations.
  • Coordinate MEP integration with other disciplines to ensure seamless execution.

Cleanroom & Industrial Fit-Out Construction

  • Execute construction of cleanrooms, raised flooring, T-grid ceilings, and other specialized

environments for semiconductor and Electronic industries.

  • Ensure strict compliance with industry standards for dust control, airflow, and

temperature/humidity parameters.

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for on-time material delivery and quality

compliance.

  • , monitor performance of sub-contractors, and ensure safety and quality adherence.

Site Operations & Team Supervision

  • Lead a workforce of 150–200, including engineers, supervisors, and labour teams.
  • Ensure high productivity, adherence to project milestones, and conflict resolution.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and mentor junior staff to ensure optimal productivity.

Project Schedule

7. Adherence to the project schedule and update the progress Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
  • Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards to ensure zero-incident work culture.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal management.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and insights on project progress, risks, and solutions.

Key Skills Required

• Construction Management – Large-scale industrial & cleanroom facilities

• MEP Project Execution – HVAC, cleanroom, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems

• Cleanroom Infrastructure – Raised flooring, T-grid ceilings, contamination control, cleanrrom doors

and wall panel system.

• Project Planning Tools – MS Project, Primavera,

• Team Leadership – Managing large, multi-disciplinary teams

• Contract & Vendor Management

• Risk Mitigation & Problem-Solving

• Deep Knowledge on Safety & Quality Assurance

• Strong Communication & Coordination Skills

• MS office – Reports preparation and PPt
