Laptop Technician – Chip-Level Repair Specialist

Laptop Technician

🔍 Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair laptop motherboards at the chip level
  • Replace IO ICs and other SMD components using hot air rework stations
  • Perform BGA reballing and reflow procedures
  • Use schematics and board views for fault tracing
  • Maintain repair logs and ensure quality control

🛠️ Requirements:

  • Proven experience in chip-level laptop repairs
  • Proficiency with tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering stations
  • Ability to read and interpret motherboard schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and steady hand for micro-soldering
  • Familiarity with brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple is a plus
