The Risk Management Services (RMS) team within GDS is over 1,400 people strong, operating from 4 locations and responsible for delivering various processes aimed at ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies governing professional services firms. **Job Title:** Assistant Director **Role:** Manager - Compliance and Quality **Reporting to:** Compliance and Quality Lead **Job Location:** Gurugram (India) **Job Summary:** The Compliance and Service Quality Management (SQM) Implementation Manager role will involve supporting the compliance and quality management function within the GDS Independence Assurance Support organization. The role includes driving adherence to quality and compliance controls, supporting the development of a robust quality management system, and enhancing customer satisfaction and delivery quality. As an Assistant Director in GDS RMS Independence team, you will contribute to the compliance and quality agenda by working closely with team and location leads across all GDS Independence offices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather a thorough understanding of controls and act as the compliance & quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the GDS Independence Assurance teams. - Serve as the primary contact for the GDS Independence Assurance teams to ensure timely execution of compliance activities. - Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements. - Prepare reports on the status of the control environment and track compliance and quality initiatives. - Assist in training team members on compliance and quality principles. - Facilitate monthly reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions with the team. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Bachelor's degree, preferably a master's degree in business administration or a related field. - Minimum of 8+ years of experience in managing compliance and/or quality assurance/service quality. - Certifications in compliance and risk management will be an added advantage. - Hands-on experience as an Individual contributor. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. **Key Attributes and Business Skills Needed:** - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. - Strong technical understanding of quality management systems and compliance frameworks. - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. - Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to quality. - Client-focused approach and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. **Additional Attributes:** - Working knowledge of Program Management and collaboration tools. - Familiarity with Scrum and agile frameworks. - Basic data analytics/visualization skillset will be an added advantage.
