Compliance Advisory - Information System

Role Overview: As the Compliance IT at our organization, you will report to the Head of Regulatory and Compliance. Your main responsibility will be to oversee regulatory inspections and manage IT compliance. You will also conduct Information Systems Audits for the Bank, which includes evaluating Information Systems and Security audits, application control reviews, and application functionality reviews. Additionally, you will execute IT audits according to the annual audit plan and support team members in performing compliance reviews. Your role will also involve contributing to the preparation of regular submissions to the Board and Audit & Compliance Committee. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee regulatory inspections and manage IT compliance - Conduct Information Systems Audits for the Bank - Evaluate Information Systems and Security audits, application control reviews, and application functionality reviews - Execute IT audits according to the annual audit plan - Support team members in performing compliance reviews - Contribute to the preparation of regular submissions to the Board and Audit & Compliance Committee Qualifications Required: - Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape for banks in India, with a focus on RBI and FEMA requirements - Strong coordination skills, research capabilities, and ability to interpret regulatory guidelines intelligently - Sound knowledge of banking areas such as Trade, Remittances, and Treasury - Ability to achieve results effectively in a startup environment - Excellent interpersonal skills and impeccable integrity Additional Details: The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Chartered Accountant qualification (preferably on the first attempt), with additional degrees in Law or Company Secretaryship considered advantageous. Candidates should also have 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a Financial Services setting, preferably involving RBI Inspection.
