Compliance Advisor, AVP

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Deutsche India Compliance advisory team, contributing to the larger DB India Compliance team. Your role will involve a mix of advisory, review, monitoring, and reporting tasks, requiring you to engage with various stakeholders across Deutsche India service lines, infrastructure functions at group and legal entity levels, and Compliance leadership across group entities. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Compliance advisory and Compliance risk management for Business Operations in DIPL Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, and International Private Bank - Identify training requirements and prepare training materials - Deliver training sessions and conduct post-training follow-ups, recording all activities - Conduct Compliance investigations, document evidence, and provide advice on consequence management - Record and report findings in DB applications and extract lessons learnt for training purposes - Perform Compliance monitoring and reviews by identifying compliance risk themes, planning, scoping, and conducting fieldwork - Prepare reports, track progress, and ensure follow-ups are completed - Analyze key compliance metrics to identify trends and potential risks - Standardize processes in coordination with compliance colleagues and update Key Operating Procedures (KOPs) and Key Operating Documents (KODs) Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of Banking operations for Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, Private / Retail Bank, and Asset management - Good grasp of Outsourcing and Compliance Risk areas such as Employee Compliance, Electronic Communication, and Information Barriers - Ability to recognize compliance risks in daily business operations with attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate compliance risks and manage stakeholder expectations - Proficiency in drafting training materials, KOPs, and KODs - Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and adaptability to new banking applications - Data management and analytics skills Company Details: You will be part of a culture at Deutsche Bank that values empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
