Job Description

Job Title : Company Secretary

Experience : 3-5 Years

Location : Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage company secretarial compliances including board meetings, AGM/EGM, statutory registers, resolutions, and annual filings.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI regulations and update management on relevant amendments.
  • Review and verify statutory financials, contracts, and engagement letters.
  • Liaise with legal teams and external authorities for compliance matters.
  • Support Finance function in statutory audit, banking, and management accounting.
  • Deliver timely and accurate filings with ROC/MCA/RBI and ensure no lapses in compliance.
Requisites
  • Company Secretary (CS) certification with membership of ICSI.
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act, FEMA, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in board processes, ROC filings, and statutory records management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (Navision preferred).
  • Strong communication skills in English (other languages a plus).
  • Ability to perform under high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
