Communications Manager II

As an experienced communications professional joining the People Communications team at HERE, your role will involve leading internal communications across India, the largest employment location for the company. You will be responsible for driving engagement among the workforce, managing internal executive communications for the Chief Platform & Technology Officer, and contributing to global internal communications initiatives, particularly in the APAC region. This role is based in Mumbai and reports to the Head of People & Customer Communications in Berlin. **Main Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute the internal communications plan for India in collaboration with local leadership, HR, and the global communications team. - Craft clear and compelling narratives and messaging across various channels to keep employees informed and engaged with HEREs strategy. - Serve as a strategic adviser to the India Leadership Team on communications-related topics. - Enhance the visibility and impact of Indian leaders through timely and coherent communications. - Lead the execution of global internal campaigns, townhalls, and communications projects in India, aligning closely with global stakeholders. - Partner with HR in India to drive employee engagement, manage organizational announcements, and coordinate high-visibility communications. - Develop and implement the internal executive communications strategy for the Chief Platform & Technology Officer, including messaging, presentations, and leadership updates. - Drive functional communications for the Platform & Technology organization through townhalls, written announcements, and newsletters. - Support the People Communications team's mandates within India and across APAC by creating impactful content and implementing measurement for continuous improvement. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 10+ years of experience in corporate communications or a communications agency, preferably in the technology or IT sector. - Proven expertise in communications, strategic thinking, and prioritization aligned with the company's strategy. - Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills with proficiency in English. - Skilled in writing, visual storytelling, and data utilization for improvement. - Passionate, committed, collaborative, adaptable, and effective in complex, cross-functional environments. - University degree ideally in communications, marketing, or related field.
