Role - Communication Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with engineering teams to identify, create stories, and communicate their key projects, technical innovations, and day-to-day achievements to internal and external audiences.
Leadership Visit Communications: Plan and execute communication strategies for leadership visits, including internal messaging, on-site coverage, follow-up communications, and event summaries that capture the significance and outcomes of these engagements in the internal portalsCustomer Visit & Success Story Promotion: Coordinate communications regarding customer visits, highlighting collaborating customer projects, co-innovation, and positive business outcomes. Develop and publish detailed case studies, testimonials, and multimedia content to illustrate customer success stories.Strategic Content Creation: Produce high-impact, multi-channel content such as articles, videos, presentations, managing internal sites (SharePoint) that highlight the contributions of engineers, leadership interactions, and customer partnerships.Internal Storytelling: Create initiatives that foster pride and engagement among employees by regularly sharing team achievements, engineering breakthroughs, and stories of collaboration in posters, displays & other effective mediaEvent Communications: Develop messaging and collateral for company or industry events that feature engineering highlights, leadership participation, and customer showcases.Measurement & Reporting: Track the reach and impact of communications, particularly those related to engineering, leadership, and customer stories. Provide regular reports and recommendations for enhancing engagement and visibility.Executive and Engineer Support: Prepare talking points, presentation materials, and engineers participating in customer visits, conferences and other opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably with technology or energy sector exposure.Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into accessible, engaging stories for a variety of audiences.Experience managing communications for executive visits, customer engagement, or technical project showcases.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Proficiency with digital and social media platforms, content creation tools, and analytics.Skilled at building relationships and collaborating across functions and with external partners.Strong project and event management skills
