Commodity/Snr Commodity Specialist - NPI

As a Commodity Specialist at Enphase Energy, you will play a crucial role in NPI Project Management. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for sourcing activities for the assigned NPI project - Ensuring sourcing project deliverables such as Quality, Delivery, Cost & Service are met for the assigned project - Actively involving in project planning and driving cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing processes are followed - Managing Product Cost at Bill of Materials (BOM) level for all Commodities for the assigned project - Mitigating risks related to End-of-Life (EOL), Not Recommended for New Design (NRND), Globalization, Single source elimination, and Preferred Supplier List adherence In terms of NPI Commodity Management, you will: - Support assigned mechanical/electronics commodities for all NPI projects - Conduct capacity planning and mitigate single source risks at the NPI stage - Represent Enphase's needs to the industry and drive supplier partnerships - Define target candidate suppliers based on Enphase commodity strategy - Lead commercial activities and perform commodity management role in supporting NPI - Collaborate with Enphase Commodity experts to drive best sourcing decisions based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) - Act as an escalation point for NPI team on assigned commodity-related issues Furthermore, you will be involved in: - Developing and implementing Enphase's sourcing strategy - Managing sourcing risks and creating mitigation plans throughout the NPI lifecycle - Contributing valuable inputs to supplier scorecards and business reviews - Aligning suppliers with Enphase technology roadmaps and enabling innovative products/solutions - Being a trusted partner and thought leader to the Enphase product and development team Qualifications required for this role include: - Demonstrated ability to drive and close cross-functional project initiatives with strong project management skills - Minimum BE qualification (Preferably in Engineering, ME Engineering, and/or MBA) - 1+ years of experience in NPI/Global Commodity Management, Manufacturing, or Management in an industry - Direct experience in the assigned commodity - Strong technical and commercial knowledge on cost drivers - Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills - Positive, self-motivated, and directed attitude If you are passionate about advancing a more sustainable future and possess the required qualifications and skills, this is the perfect opportunity to join Enphase Energy and contribute to the growth of the company.,
