About the Role We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Staff Software Test Engineer to design and develop various cloud program test activities. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Staff Test Engineer, you will join a team focused on Systems Integration and Testing of all Enphase product offerings from all business units within Enphase Energy. In this role, you will: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans. Actively participate in engineering forums, review technical documents, product and design specifications, provide feedback from a system test perspective, and develop detailed test scenarios. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within projects concerning multiple Enphase systems. Design and develop test bed schematics, set up systems in the lab for end-to-end system test activities. Execute tests, log bugs in Jira, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed analysis of the issues found. Lead bug triage discussions, provide impact analysis of the issues found by the team, and reach consensus with stakeholders to fix issues before releasing the product to the field. Who You Are and What You Bring Educational Background: A masters or bachelors degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering. Experience: 6+ years of system validation experience where multiple subsystems are integrated together. Skills and Attributes: High level of self-motivation and drive to make an impact, with a strong interest in being hands-on in the lab. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience working across various functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Solid experience in Mobile and Web application software Testing for Embedded Systems with IoT technology Solid experience in testing and REST APIs using SOAPUI and postman tool Expertise in Web and Mobile (Android and IOS) app testing. Exposure to Mobile application testing (iOS / Android) for IOT products. Experience working with field application engineers and translating field issues into use cases for system testing. Test experience in technologies such as Electrical, PLC, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Automotive, IoT, Solar, EVSE, Battery Storage Systems, and Home Automation. Exposure in testing Web applications software for Cloud, Security, MQTT, AWS services and REST APIs and Experience in Functional and non-functional testing. Experience with test management tools such as TestRail and DOORs.
