Role Overview: As a candidate for this role, you will primarily focus on Bitumen and Base oil within the Petroleum sector. Your responsibilities will involve building relations with manufacturers of Petroleum with a long-term perspective. You will also be required to set up a network with BROKERS/CONSULTANTS to assist in the procurement of Petroleum. Negotiating insurance policies for trade liability on open terms will also be a crucial part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Building relations with manufacturers of Petroleum with a long-term perspective. - Setting up a network with BROKERS/CONSULTANTS to assist in the procurement of Petroleum. - Negotiating insurance policies for trade liability on open terms. - Ensuring that all sales are backed with a financial instrument or Credit Insurance. - Monitoring receivables and maintaining a maximum turnaround of days over the credit limits set by the system. - Making regular field visits in designated domestic and international markets to maintain customer relations and for marketing purposes. - Liaising with the International Logistics desk and overseeing vessel chartering for all goods shipped out. - Authorizing quarterly reports prepared by Accounts related to your sales of products as per budgets. - Taking timely decisions on trade matters and staying updated on market information regarding products, prices, and competition to share with Sales and Procurement teams. - Coordinating timely submission of all MIS/reports. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of the Petroleum sector, specifically Bitumen and Base oil. - Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. - Experience in managing trade liability insurance policies. - Proficiency in financial instruments and Credit Insurance. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for field visits and customer relations. - Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple departments.
