Commodity Head-Electrical & Electronics

Role Overview: You will be the Commodity Head-Electrical & Electronics at Hero Motocorp, responsible for ensuring timely addressal of customer issues related to electrical prop parts, strengthening supplier manufacturing capabilities, adherence to SQA processes, and development of new models. Your day-to-day activities will include driving timely execution of plans, executing improvement activities at suppliers, formulating KAI/KPI, providing inputs for robust design, and working with stakeholders from other departments for problem analysis and solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely addressal of internal & external customer issues related to electrical prop parts - Strengthen supplier manufacturing capabilities for defect-free supplies - Adhere to SQA processes such as inspection system, problem solving system, NC closure, and supplier upgradation - Develop new models by timely approval of product, process, and system at suppliers - Review TFC, DFMEA, PFMEA, and QAVs - Drive timely execution of plans and periodic performance review of suppliers - Execution of improvement activities at suppliers - Plan QAV visits at supplier end to ensure process adherence - Formulate and monitor KAI/KPI based on organization's ABP - Provide inputs for robust design in new model parts - Evaluate new model part drawings and assess development process - Develop inspection facility and other infrastructure at HMCL - Work with stakeholders from other departments for problem analysis and solutions Qualifications Required: - Graduation in Electrical/Electronic Engineering - Minimum 15-20 years of experience in e-component manufacturing, and 10-15 years in an automotive firm Additional Details of the Company: Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years, with a presence in 47 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
