Job Description

We are hiring a Tandoor Commis to support our tandoor section and ensure high-quality, consistent food production. The role involves preparing tandoori breads and kebabs, and maintaining hygiene standards during service. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing tandoor temperature and equipment safely. Prepare and cook naan, roti, kulcha, roomali roti, and tandoori kebabs as per recipe standards. Support marination work, skewering, portioning, and maintaining stock levels. Ensure cleanliness, food safety, labeling, and proper storage as per hygiene guidelines. Coordinate with senior chefs during service for timely order dispatch. Report shortages, equipment issues, and work closely with the team to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Skills & Requirements: Basic to good knowledge of tandoor cooking (based on Commi level). Ability to work in high-heat, fast-paced environments. Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn. 0–4 years of experience in Indian/tandoor kitchen depending on level. Culinary certification is a plus.
