As a Food Preparation Associate at Courtyard Gurugram Downtown, your role will involve preparing ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will be responsible for washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes and quality standards. In this position, you will be expected to prepare and cook food while adhering to presentation standards and following the food preparation checklist. Your duties will also include preparing cold foods, operating various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and testing foods to ensure they are cooked sufficiently. Monitoring food quality during preparation, setting up and breaking down work stations, and serving food in proper portions onto appropriate receptacles are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be required to wash and disinfect the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, as well as check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food. As a member of our team, you must adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, promptly reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager.
