Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and cooking of authentic South Indian dishes with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Independently handle assigned sections of the kitchen while following recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the Head Chef.
  • Ensure highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies as per guidelines.
  • Support junior team members in mise-en-place and day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Maintain discipline, teamwork, and punctuality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in South Indian cuisine is required.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods.
  • Ability to maintain consistency, attention to detail, and high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support junior staff.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
