Job Title: Commi 2 – Hundo Pizza

Location: Mumbai
Department: Kitchen Operations
Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef

Role Summary

The Commi 2 plays a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations, including preparation, station handling, hygiene maintenance, and assisting senior chefs. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, fast, and eager to learn, ensuring consistency and quality in every pizza and product prepared.

Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Production

• Assist in preparation of pizza toppings, sauces, dough handling, cutting, and basic cooking tasks.
• Ensure proper portioning and consistency as per brand standards.
• Follow recipe cards and instructions given by Commi 1 / CDP / Sous Chef.
• Maintain station readiness for service hours.

Kitchen Operations

• Support in maintaining FIFO for all raw materials.
• Assist in store receiving, storage, and labeling of ingredients.
• Ensure all prep work is completed before peak hours.
• Work efficiently during rush hours and support team members.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation and equipment.
• Follow FSSAI and Hundo Pizza’s internal hygiene guidelines.
• Ensure proper usage of gloves, caps, and personal grooming standards.

Team Support

• Assist senior chefs during busy hours.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely order completion.
• Participate in regular training sessions conducted by the kitchen leadership team.

RequirementsExperience

• 1–2 years of experience in QSR / restaurant kitchens (pizza or fast food preferred).
• Fresher candidates with strong interest in culinary operations may also be considered.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food prep.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Education

• SSC / HSC preferred.
• Culinary diploma/certificate is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
