The Commis II – Bakery is responsible for assisting in the preparation, baking, and presentation of bakery and pastry items. The role involves supporting senior chefs, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and contributing to the smooth operation of the bakery section in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily preparation and production of bakery items including breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, desserts, and other baked goods.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Pastry Chef.
• Ensure all bakery items meet restaurant standards in taste, texture, and appearance.
• Support in mixing, molding, proofing, baking, and finishing bakery products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section, equipment, and storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI norms).
• Assist in receiving and storing supplies properly to maintain freshness and prevent wastage.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
• Continuously learn and develop baking skills under the guidance of senior chefs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Bakery, Pastry, or Culinary Arts preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen (restaurant, café, or hotel).
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and passion for baking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
