The Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa is currently looking to hire a Full Time Culinary Professional to join their team. As a member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing special meals, regulating oven temperatures, pulling food from storage, ensuring proper portioning and arrangement, and maintaining food logs. You will monitor the quality and quantity of food, communicate with other staff during busy periods, and assist in the creation of daily specials. In addition to culinary responsibilities, you will also be involved in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees. You will be expected to follow all company policies and safety procedures, report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean and professional appearance. Anticipating and addressing guest service needs, developing positive relationships with colleagues, and ensuring adherence to quality standards are also key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will have a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree along with at least 3 years of related work experience. No supervisory experience is required for this position, and no specific license or certification is necessary.
